First Impressions
These diapers are very light green and sport Clifford the Big Red Dog across the waist. They have the gather around the very top front and back of the diaper like many other store band diapers do. The size is not printed on the diaper. The back has no design at all, making it easy to tell front from back. The inside is smooth and looks a lot like Huggies. These diapers have a faint ointment-like smell to them but it is not strong at all. They are brick shaped and closely resemble the Especially for Babies brand from Babies R Us. The outside is softer than most store brands but I would NOT call it cloth-like.

In Use
*Once again, to be fair in my review, I used these on both of my children. I have a 2-year-old girl and a 6-month-old son who is breastfed. I also used all of both packages before making up my mind about them.

Fit: These diapers didn’t fit my babies well at all. The length was great but there was way too much diaper between the legs. They were always sagging. I have skinny babies with skinny legs and I had a terrible time with the bunch between the legs. I can’t imagine that parents’ of chubbier babies liking the fit either. The gathers around the leg holes fit great though. I think that they would work for skinny or chubby-thighed babies.

Performance: I was pleasantly surprised by these diapers. This just goes to show that first impressions are not everything. Despite that fact that these diapers don’t have the mesh inside that some Pampers have, they did a great job at pulling the moisture away form my children’s skin. My daughter had a little diaper rash and, believe it or not, these diapers took it away!

We had no wet leaks at all and only a few stool leaks. Surprisingly enough, they weren’t from the diapers my son wore! These diapers worked great for him. My daughter got a horrible case of diarrhea and only Pampers Cruisers held it. She got another rash from the lose stool and again, the diapers cleared it up.The extra diaper in the crotch area is probably responsible for the great job they did at night. The tabs stretched ok but not great… enough to get the job done. They were easy to undo and fasten and you could reposition them all you wanted to get a great fit. These diapers, like most other store brands I have tried, do get a little stiff when wet but not puffy as I have come to expect from store brands. I hate Babies R Us, so I expected to hate these too, but they did a great job.

Pros

  • 100% satisfaction guarantee
  • They did a great job
  • They clear up rashes
  • They have repositionable tabs

Cons

  • The tabs don’t stretch the best
  • The extra between the thigh
  • The price

In Summary
Despite the funny look due to the extra between the legs, these diapers did a great job. They are not my favorite store brand, but I would use them again if I got them on a great sale. I would never pay full price for them. You can get premium brands for about the same or less with sales and coupons.

I absolutely love these diapers. I’ve tried all types of Huggies, Pampers, Luvs and other generic store brands and I love Top Care Baby Soft diapers. Anytime my baby has a diaper rash I don’t even use ointment or anything because these diapers draw the moisture right off and the rash cleared up. Just wish they were more affordable.
