Walmart.com has the Graco Nautilus in Matrix for $139 with free shipping to home. That’s a good price for a great seat. It’s gone as low as $122 or so, but that’s pretty rare. The average sale price is around $143.
Daisy, the pink one, is three dollars more with free shipping to home.
The Nautilus offers extended 5-point harnessing for kids up to 65 lbs. It converts to a high-back belt-positioning booster and to a backless booster for use up to 100 lbs. We’ve had this seat for a couple of years, and it’s held up very well.
I scored the same car seat for $135 (w/o tax but free shipping) two months ago also from Walmart. We couldn’t be happier with the seat!
Question-we have a nautilus and it says on the side it can only be used with the latch (and harness) up to 48 pounds. Is ours an old model or something? We were thinking of getting another seat with a higher limit, but maybe we don’t need it?
@Jhana – you can use the seat with harness up to 65 pounds, but you’ll need to use a seatbelt install for sure by 48 pounds, sometimes lower, you need to check with your car manufacturer to find that out.
