Get 30% Off Diapers and Wipes For Good with Amazon Mom

Baby Cheapskate readers are abuzz about a new program from Amazon. And no wonder!

Sign up for Amazon Mom and get a free trial membership to Amazon Prime for three months. Each time you make a purchase of $25 or more in the baby store, your trial will be extended by one month (up to a year). Of course, you don’t have to be a mom to join. (Tip: be sure to cancel your Prime trial online before it runs out so you won’t be charged. I suggest setting up an email alert on your eCalendar to remind you.)

And here’s the AWESOME part: Amazon Mom members get to KEEP that 30% off Subscribe and Save discount on diapers and wipes that we’ve been enjoying for the past couple of months. *Happy Dance* You’ll also receive emails with discounts. You can see them anytime at amazon.com/mom.

Thanks to all the readers who sent in this top or posted it on the Facebook Page.

I just tried using a 20% coupon with the amazon mom discount and it won’t let me. Anyone else have a problem or know the restriction?

same thing happened to me. apparently you can use a code with the same beginning letter as the last one you used.

my W code wouldnt work, so i traide with a friend for an S code – and it took it.

$18 for a huge box of huggies!

    • Anne says:

Did you already use a coupon that began with the same letter? You can only use one per account.

  2. LB says:

I don’t think they’ll start charging for Prime after a year–from the Terms: “The automatic renewal provisions in the Amazon Prime Terms & Conditions (which would require you to pay for Amazon Prime) do not apply to this membership, even if we decide to extend the free Amazon Prime shipping offer beyond one year. “

  3. Courtney says:

Even better – if you’re like me and already paid for an Amazon Prime membership – they’ll refund your current Prime membership on a prorated basis! Thanks for the tip!!

I wish I had seen this coming. I though the 30% off was such a good deal that I stocked up for about 7 or 8 months already. Now I have to store them. This is an awesome deal for those who didn’t already over buy like me.

I just tried and it didn’t accept my “X” coupon. Anyone want to trade for a different letter? Email me at jessica dot tebbets at gmail dot com

  6. Michelle says:

I’m confused, do you have to cancel and re-sign up for S&S to get the 30% off every time? You said that we get to keep the 30% off discount we’ve been enjoying, but when I read it on Amazon Mom it sounds like the 15% off is normal but the other 15% off is just for signing up. Am I wrong?

  7. K in Philly says:

Anyone else now getting “buy something now or lose your benefit” emails? I’ve made at least 10 purchases with baby items since September – diapers, baby food, toys, books … but my Amazon Mom page shows NOTHING under purchases.

    • Michelle says:

      K in Philly –
Your orders need to be $25 or more in a single order from the baby store. Each order over $25 extends by 1-month. I’ve been getting e-mails every time I place an order over $25 letting me know how many months it extends and what orders qualified. If your orders were over $25 and from the baby store, I’d e-mail Amazon.

    • Sarah says:

It’s not under purchases but under managing your subscriptions under amazon mom – kinda confusing. :(

      Hope it helps!

  8. Erin B says:

How do you stack the coupons to your mom purchase I can’t seem to navigate to a page wher it allows me to do this.
