My local Craigslist (Big Island, Hawaii) is so embarrassingly overpriced & filled with crap no one would pay for – trash bags (literally) of stuffed animals, trading cards, piles of clothing. I’m jealous of people in big cities with decent Craigslists!

Indeed, CL is where my son’s train table came from last Christmas. We paid half the price it was listed for at Toys R Us for a nearly pristine, pre-assembled set that the original owners had painstakingly packed up by track size. It was quite a find! If you’re willing to do some sleuthing & sanitizing, Craigslist is a great place to Christmas shop!
