9 Great Double Strollers Under $180

Double strollers are expensive! How can you find one that fits your budget, and how do you know which style and model is best for you? This post should help.

First, you’ll need to think about whether you want the seats to have a twin (side by side) or tandem (front and back) arrangement. BC parents’ opinions are mixed.

  • Tandem: Fits through doorways and through crowds more easily. Kid’s can’t bother each other as much
  • Twin: Both kids have equal visibility.
To decide which is best for you, think about the following: How will you use the stroller? Shopping? Walks around your neighborhood? Will you be lifting it often? Does it need to fit in to the trunk of your car?

    No sit-and-stands?

  2. Tiffany K says:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my baby trend sit and stand stroller. My kids are 16 months apart and it is a lifesaver! I tried to just go with a single stroller for the first 9 months or so (when my youngest could be in a wrap), but then summer hit and she was more mobile and my toddler more jealous. It gives him the option of sitting or standing like a big boy and he loves the freedom. Sometimes I wish I bought the double, but unless I ever have twins, I shouldn’t need it. My only complaint is that the latch that keeps the stroller together when it is stored is not the greatest and sometimes the stroller opens as I am carrying it down the stairs.
