I find it depressing that they have turned the day of thanksgiving into what some will perceive as “I must go to the store today, or they won’t have any deals left” day as opposed to a day of giving thanks and spending time with your family. I know that two years ago, Walmart waited until midnight. I went that night to pick up Rockband for my PS3. Never again. It was crammed with so many overfilled carts that you couldn’t move and it was complete chaos. I was appalled at the number of very young exhausted children that were there that late. Sorry to be negative on here, but I think that the consumerism encroaching this egregiously into the day itself needs to stop. I’ll do my shopping online on Friday or after. There are plenty of deals if you keep an eye out (and read your blog :)
