All of the Black Friday deals below are in-store deals, though we may see some show up online as well. Check sites like BFads.net to see scans of the entire Black Friday ad.

• Carter’s 2-piece sets for newborns will be $10.99.

• Character tees and sets for kids will be 60% off,
• Dress clothes for kids, toddlers and babies will be 50% off,
• Fashion Tops and Bottoms for kids and toddlers will be 60% off, and more.

Babies r Us:

• 2 pc sets will be 50% off on Friday and Saturday.
• Carter’s Sleepwear will be 50% off on Friday and Saturday.
• BRU brand sleepwear will be 60% offon Friday and Saturday.
• Koala Kids Denim Jeans will be $6 Friday 5 am to 1 pm

Gymboree.com and Crazy8.com:

• On NOW: Take 30% off with no coupon code needed through Friday at 3 pm online and until noon in-store. Then 25% off.

The Children’s Place:

• On NOW: 30% off everything with code TURKEY plus free shipping on all orders.

Now’s about the time when the whole Black Friday thing starts to seem overwhelming. Most of the ads are out. That’s a LOT of sale info to try to process. Sometimes you just want somebody to tell you where to find the best deals on the stuff you’re looking for.

In an effort to make it easier I looked at in-store BF ads for Kmart, Target, Walmart and Toys R Us for toys from BC’s Toys That Get Played With Lists and other toys readers are buzzing about.

After each toy you’ll see the price and where it’s being offered. Again, the prices here are for in-store deals. Some prices may be the same online, but you can’t assume that they will be. A few more tips:

• If you see something interesting, browse the ad (Google the store and “Black Friday Ad”) to find out exactly when it’s on sale. Some items in the BF ads are only available at the price for a limited time. They may be doorbusters or Saturday prices, for example.
• You can also check prices on this list against pre-Black Friday sale prices and discounts to see if you should wait or buy.
• Amazon doesn’t spill the beans about their Black Friday deals early, so they’re not on this list. There are sure to be some good deals, though. In case you missed it, find out what Amazon does for Black Friday here.

Amazon doesn’t release a Black Friday ad early like most other stores, but you can bet the deals will be hot. They certainly were last year. Curious about what Amazon will do for Black Friday, Cyber Monday and beyond? Read on:

Though they’ve been promoting their “Black Friday Countdown” for about two weeks now, Amazon starts its holiday promotion in earnest on November 21. You’ll find deal announcements and other info at Amazon’s Black Friday page. Bookmark it for easy reference. You’ll also find all the toy deals listed on the Toy Department page come November 21.

Some of last year’s hottest toy deals showed up as limited-time steals at Amazon, so keep an eye out for Amazon’s Gold Box and Lightning Deals.

• Gold Box Deals are Amazon’s Daily Deals. Amazon cuts the price of a limited quantity of an item for 24 hours or until the item is sold out. Expect discounts of 25% off or more.

• Lightning Deals run for a few hours at discounts similar to Gold Box deals or a bit better. Quantities are limited, though, so you you have to act fast to get in on the most popular deals. Last holiday season’s Lightning Toy deals were advertised at 35% to 75% off list price, with 50% off or more being pretty common.

Tip: Follow @amazondeals on Twitter to get the scoop on Lightning Deals, Deals of the Day, etc. I’ll be giving you the scoop here on BC as well. Make sure you’ve Liked BC on Facebook to be notified of posts as soon as they go up and to catch lots of deals that you won’t even find on the blog.

The bottom line? Amazon tries to match or beats prices at other stores, especially Walmart and Target, and Black Friday is no exception. Look for Amazon to try to match or beat the toy deals you’re seeing on the Black Friday ads. You can also expect Amazon’s toy deals to get better and better as standard shipping deadlines approach (about a week before Christmas). I expect toy deals to peak around mid-December.
